"Maya stopped plaiting the fresh flowers, for a moment.

"My grandmother died last year, as you know, Yoshi. I loved her dearly. One day when I was walking past her old house, I saw her, very clearly, in the garden. She was wearing her favourite dress, a deep blue one and she smiled and waved to me.

For a moment, I forgot that she was dead and I smiled and waved back, as I always did, when I saw her in the past. Then she just faded away. Was that her ghost, that I saw?"

"I would prefer to use the term spirit, rather than ghost. But, yes she appeared to you, to show you that she is still alive, just in a different dimension. As you become more spiritual, you may often see her around you. You’re not afraid of her, are you?"

"Oh no. I could never be afraid of Grandmother." Maya said with a smile. "I felt her love flow towards me, when she appeared in the garden. I hope that she will be a special guide to me, throughout my life."

She rose and lifted the colourful garland over his white, shaggy hair and it lay softly over his dark, thin shoulders.

Yoshi smiled lovingly at the pretty, young girl’s dreamy expression.

"I am sure that your Grandmother will guide you through a long and happy life, Maya. You are filled with compassion, unconditional love and spiritual purpose. I am proud of you. You are truly making this life count!" Copyright The Abbotts.

A PRESIDENT'S GHOST STORY

The physical body may die away, but the spirit remains as alive as ever. The astral body, the true being, leaves the physical body and ascended into the heavenly realms. Many attend their own funerals. Many still visit us today to give loving words of comfort and guidance. As the old spiritualist poem says - "They are but a breath away!"

I would like to tell you of the words of President Roosevelt, of the USA who channelled this message, after his death, to a medium, -
"I wish that I could give one more fireside talk, to tell all people that the greatest humbug of all is death. I was very active at my funeral. The only one who paid any attention to me at the funeral was my dog Scottie.

I was very amused at all the best brains in the country, concentrating on the shabby old garment of mine, that was being put under the earth and there I was as large as life! And when my dog saw me, he rolled on the ground making a diversion! I went into a body like my own body, young, healthy, strong and no one at my funeral saw me, because this body was travelling faster than theirs!"

Never fear Death
An inspirational Message from an Ascended Master

"Blessings to you dear friends, I am Joachim.

Dear ones, never be afraid of dying! You have all died many hundreds of times in your past incarnations and you are still here, are you not? Death is not an ending. It is not a suppression of your Spirit. It is indeed an expansion. It is like you having been a caterpillar and suddenly becoming a butterfly. That is how wondrous it truly is!

Imagine if you like, the little caterpillar that spends his life on a twig with a few leaves to eat and a few other caterpillars as friends. See how limited that life is. That is like your life on Earth. Dear friends, have you not often wondered why certain things happen to you? Because you cannot see the bigger picture, or why you are here? Everything seems to have a meaning that is indecipherable to you.

And yet, when that caterpillar turns into the butterfly, as you become an angelic being, when you, as you say, pass over, as you fly up higher, you begin to see the bigger picture. The caterpillar sees the twig is part of a branch, which is part of a tree, which is part of a forest. He sees there are sky and clouds, that there are houses and people. And so it is when you go to a higher dimension, after what you call death. You then see your life as it truly was- you see the bigger picture, what it was all about!

Why you had to learn certain lessons, which ones you passed successfully and which ones you failed in. Often it is surprising the things that you ask yourself to achieve. There is many who have been an important being, such as a pope, or an archbishop, or a great guru who thought that they were doing the work that they were sent to do and yet on passing over, found perhaps that they were meant to learn humility in this life, humbleness, kindness and love for fellow man!

It is sometimes very difficult, when you are here, to understand why you are here on Earth and to understand if you are fulfilling your purpose. The closer contact you make with Spirit, then it becomes clearer to you, if you are on the right or wrong pathway. If life seems happier, more joyful, more connected with others, then that is a good clue to you, that you are following your heart's purpose.

When you see the bigger picture and you pass over, or die, you are able to see then, your relationship ties with other people. How strong those bonds are, how you incarnate together in groups, often time and time again, to achieve some higher purpose, but also, to work out these relationship ties with others.

And so, if you are good, sensible caterpillars in this life, dear friends, you make sure you send loving light to all those that have harmed you and all those that you have harmed now, while you have the chance! Not just out of selfishness, but in order that you don't carry that weight around with you, for the rest of your life, in order that the Light that you send to others, may relieve them of their guilt, or their burden and so you do not have to come back, once more and relive similar patterns, until you finally all learn the lessons.

And now for encouragement, dear friends, because for many of you, this will be an amazing lifetime, in which much of your karmic ties will finally dissolve! For one of the major purposes in incarnating time and time again, dear friends, is to realise that you are divine. You are not just human, you have in you the divine spark of God!

You are able to achieve many great, wondrous things in this lifetime and as the planet and you change your vibration to a lighter, airier, more loving vibration, a more God-centred vibration and as your memory reawakens to the great beings you truly are- that you truly are butterflies, not caterpillars-then great expansions open towards you.

Expansions of understanding, of previously learned material coming back to you, of seeing that you are not separate, that you are united with all life forces, seeing that there is no need to live in fear on this planet, but it truly is a love-centred life that you can achieve for yourself! And once you realise your limitlessness, once you see you cannot truly die and be finished, that even death expands into a greater awareness and a greater opportunity for growth, then you can achieve anything that you like on this Earth and have no fear of harm, or death to yourself, for truly how can you harm the Spirit? You cannot!

Do the Abbotts believe in Ghosts?

Robyn & Tony: As Channellers and Clairvoyants, of course we believe in Spirits (ghosts)! They are the etheric or astral part of the deceased person who can appear to us for consolation, information and guidance. 99% of the spirits we encounter are kind, higher beings who are very happy to help us in all levels of our life, from finding us a parking spot in a busy section of town, helping us with personal problems and giving us higher information on special subjects.

Often when I (Tony) am giving a personal reading to a client many spirits surround us and want to speak to the client, sending messages of love and support. Their information is correct, insightful and very helpful to the client. Our own Guides are a type of Spirit or Ghost and they help us find information for our clients on their problems and can "tap" into the Akashic records for past or future information.

Robyn: We often see spirits around people in the street or when we visit people's homes. Often they are relatives trying to help them or ask for forgiveness, others are the original owners of the homes who just don't want to move on! They are not frightening, but act just like us. However, we are asked occasionally by current owners of the homes to gently move them on, as they feel uncomfortable in their presence. Others are quite happy to share their homes with a ghost or two!

Often people tell me that they have seen someone close to them who has passed over to heaven, a short time after their death, perhaps in the next month or so. The figure of their lost loved one appears briefly, smiles and indicates that they are well and happy. This is not a frightening event for the grieving person, but rather gives reassurance that their loved one's soul has survived, is no longer in pain and has not forgotten them!

We have been blessed to be able to talk to many Angels, Spirits and Ghosts, believe in them? Of course we do!

MORE GHOST STORIES

I lived in an old house in England that was many centuries old. One morning, I saw a lady dressed in a long skirt and old fashioned hat walking up our stairs. I thought she was a friend of my mothers and called out to her. She turned and smiled at me and then floated up the stairs and then disappeared at the top landing. That's when I realised that she was a ghost. My brother admitted he had seen he too and later my Father caught a glimpse of her. We moved away from the region and a few years later the house was demolished. I wonder, does she still walk up invisible stairs or has she moved on? Jan.

Visiting a friend's home for the first time, I saw an elderly woman look into the room and say "Just having a look, dear!" then disappear. I told my friends who laughed and said she was the original owner of the house and had died many years ago. She often popped in, to examine their guests. They did not find her frightening and did not wanted her exorcised. My friend brought me a photograph of the woman and yes, it was the female spirit that I had seen! Robyn.

We woke up the first morning in our new "old" house that had been relocated to a rural area. It obviously had a resident ghost attached to it, for an old lady's face appeared around the doorway and said "Welcome!" A friendly if surprising morning wake up call! Tony.

Poltergeist Activity

This type of activity such as the movement of objects, fires, nasty smells etc may be caused, not only by spirit entities such as lower astrals, but by the psychokinetic energies of adolescents, whose psychic energies are often heightened during puberty. They may be consciously or unconsciously, directing this psychic force within the home, in a playful or malicious way.

The effects can be quite frightening to the teenager and the family. If this is found to be so, Spiritual Counselling may be needed to help the adolescent deal with these strong and power, if misused psychic gifts.

Psychic Vampires

These are humans who consciously or unconsciously steal your energy and leave you feeling drained and depressed. They often visit circles or meditation groups to steal the accumulated energy. Always surround yourself in a bubble of protection in groups and if you suspect someone of stealing the group's energy, send them loving light and ask your personal guides to direct them elsewhere.

Haunted Objects

It is possible for old items to carry the personal vibration of their earlier owners. If that person had mental or emotional problems, carried much hate or fear in their auras, then the item can still carry this vibration! We advise you to always cleanse antiques and vintage objects, particularly items you wear on your body. Call in your guides and in meditation direct golden light to the object and ask the Universe to cleanse it. Small objects such as rings, can be placed in sea salt for several days, if they are not harmed by the corrosive effects. Otherwise sunlight can be an effective cleanser.

The Haunted U boat

During the First World War a U boat number 65 was believed by it's crew to be thoroughly jinxed and haunted. Six men died during it's construction in 1916 through unusual poisoning, drowning and crushing incidents. Two of it's captains were killed in odd accidents and at one point it exploded at dock. Many sailors including the senior staff saw a mysterious dark figure standing on watch in the conning tower and a state of terror reigned aboard, until eventually the German navy had the "death boat" exorcised. However the ghostly visitations continued. The U boat finally blew up for no apparent reason near the West Coast of Ireland in 1918, watched by a submarine crew of the American Navy and a dark, spectral figure stood on the deck as it sank.

AMAZING FACTS

It’s official- Meditating makes you happy!

Yes, scientists at Wisconsin University have recently scanned the brain of a Tibetan Lama and found that the left part of his brain was more active than anyone formally scanned. This is the part of the brain associated with feelings of happiness.

The lama’s brain was tested while meditating and in normal mode, but the pleasure centre of his brain was now permanently active during all activities. They have also measured the breathing rates and blood pressure rates of daily meditators and found them far lower and therefore much healthier than people who do not meditate.

So it’s now official folks, just as yogis have known for thousands of years, meditating is very good for you!

LOST TECHNOLOGY

Over one hundred years ago in the clear blue seas off the Greek island of Anti Kithera, divers discovered an ancient ship wreck. The astonished divers reported seeing many "dead bodies", pots, urns, jewellery and other sunken treasures. The "dead bodies" turned out to be magnificent statues that were lost when the ship was sunk on route to Rome, in the Second Century BC. These have come to be known as the Anti Kithera treasures.
Amongst the many valuables recovered, was a strange circular object that was rusted and appeared to be merely debris. It languished in a museum for over fifty years, until a researcher used x-rays to discover that it was indeed a highly technical piece of equipment. Twenty-nine gears, cogs and many intricate interlocking wheels were photographed. Researchers since have constructed a replica of the Ante Kithira device and have found it to be a working astrological and time-keeping mechanism of sophisticated ingenuity!

Many scientists rejected the model as being too advanced for the society of the time, but further archeological finds in Greece and Italy have proved that philosophers and inventors such as Archimedes, did in fact design and construct water clocks, astrological wheels and intricate measuring mechanisms. Many of their amazing experiments and discoveries were recorded in parchments in the fabulous Library of Alexandria that was destroyed by fire, during the time of Cleopatra.

Discoveries of objects such as the Anti Kithera astrological clock prove that ancient humankind was much more advanced in their daily living habits and technology, than was once believed. The ancient stories of the wonders of the Empires of Atlantis and Lemuria are not mere myths, but a reasonable supposition. It is time that as rational people, we come to realise that our society has not reached only one cultural peak in it's long history, but has often achieved great heights of technology and spiritual progress in the past millenniums. It has then slumped once more, into Dark Ages of ignorance and barbaric living!

Many ancient cultures such as Hinduism and Buddhism believe that we constantly reach high levels of existence, then fall into a lower level of being, before working our way upward once again. Some maintain that we are in the seventh revolution of enlightenment. Instruments such as the Anti Kithera device could not have been rediscovered or remade until the 14^th or fifteenth century AD. by Europeans. Humankind had long-forgotten the earlier, advanced technology!

It is interesting to speculate on just how many cycles still lay ahead for humankind, before we advance enough technologically and spiritually to maintain a high level of reality or spiritually leave the planet entirely for higher levels of existence! Shall we sink or rise?

ATLANTEAN MONSTERS

Q. I have often wondered if the myths about the Atlanteans creating monsters of nature, were true?

A. Yes, their scientists had developed genetic technology and biological manipulation similar to those we are experimenting with, around the Earth today! In fact many of the scientists working on manipulating genetic material are reincarnated souls from the late Atlantean era. They are foolishly repeating the same mistakes that they made in a former life! They are playing around with the genes of many animals and humans, creating hybrid monsters.

You have seen in the press, pictures of Dolly the cloned sheep, goats and similar animals and now British scientists have crossed a pig with a jelly fish, This unfortunate animal has fluorescent yellow snout and hoofs. This is a flagrant misuse of intelligence and science. No doubt they will attempt to justify their hideous experiments with the old tired line, " that they are doing this to eventually help humans become healthier and stronger." Perhaps, fluorescent noses and feet will become the "in" accessories to have for Summer!

The late period Atlanteans, who had sunk to the third dimensional level, wanted power and wealth. They enslaved others and misused their considerable psychic powers and mental abilities. Having a symbiotic relationship with the Earth, as they became more unruly and unstable, so did the continent of Atlantis. Eventually their contempt for the natural laws of Gaia was so strong, that they caused earthquakes, tidal waves etc to occur and their continent was submerged beneath the waves. Those same beings have reincarnated over the last 70 years and are replaying the same scenario. Their scientific experiments, instead of aiding humanity to overcome illness, are being used for power and greed.

You have heard of the animal experiments creating hybrids, as the Atlanteans once did, but what about the human/animal experiments that have not been published? Believe me they do exist! Like the ancient Atlanteans, modern scientists are experimenting with perfecting a superman, who will blindly obey military instructions. By hybridizing them with fish etc they will be able to breathe underwater and perform other unnatural feats. These ex-Atlantean scientists have no regard, for the being trapped within these monstrous forms! Again, they have fallen into the old pattern of misusing science for their own corrupt ends. Will they also need, to see their homelands destroyed by cataclysms, as a result of their negativity?

Spirit has said many times - "That beneficial science needs to be a product of the mind and the heart!" These deluded scientists are using their minds, but not their hearts.

To counteract their negative scientific deeds and thoughts, we ask that you send them "Awakening Light". Ask that their Higher Selves remind them, in dreams and meditations, that they are committing the same offenses, once again. Visualise them working from Unconditional Love and Highest Intent, and hopefully, your combined psychic powers will help to divert them from their reckless path, to one of higher moral achievement. They will then break this foolish and dangerous pattern of behaviour and not continue this in their future lives!
