The spiritual journey is riddled with the lure of false prophets and deceptive practices. Where does a true seeker go to reconnect with divine purpose?

To my way of thinking, if I go to sleep believing something and wake up in the morning with the same belief, it’s a sure sign that I’m stuck.

At a relatively early age, to the dismay of family and friends, I strayed off the beaten path of cultural belief, setting forth on a journey of self-discovery that continues to this very day. The key to being on such a journey is to visit a belief only long enough to be touched by it and then move on. Believing nothing creates space for what is called in Zen "beginner’s mind"—seeing, touching, tasting, and experiencing everything as if for the very first time. I often say: "Yesterday, I thought I knew something, but for the life of me, I can’t seem to remember what it was."

My metaphysical quest has taken me through many traditions and physically several times around the world, seeking initiations available at the power vortexes that dot our fragile planet. I have visited shrines and temples, traveled to sacred forests and lakes, meditated in caves and on mountaintops, spoken to trees, and studied with shamans, healers, and extraordinary teachers on six continents. I am, in every sense of the word, a spiritual junkie in search of the ultimate cosmic orgasm. What a trip! Each morning, the old me fades away, and a new me arises to greet a welcoming sun it has never seen before.

A sanctuary is love in physical form. It is a holy of holies, a safe haven for the beleaguered, and a place for spiritual transition. My wife, Arianne, and I were sitting in the sanctuary garden when Lawrence mentioned a crystal skull he had received a year earlier. During the ensuing months, the nearly opaque material had become virtually transparent. What is considered a scientific impossibility he explained with poetic simplicity: "Give anything sanctuary and it will automatically rise to its highest divine potential."

I gazed out to the trees and ferns that form a living temple on this land, sheltering crystals, statues, and other sacred pieces of art and realized I was looking at a living testimony to his words. Surrounded by llamas, doves, dogs, and other animals both domestic and wild, I breathed in a moment of perfect peace. My reverie was interrupted by Lawrence’s intense gaze. "You need some work," he said. "Are you up to it?"

His meaning was clear. However far we may have traveled on our path, at each moment we are again caterpillars in a chrysalis, awaiting the next change into a higher vibration. Given the free will allotted to each human, we can elect to stay in the warmth and apparent security of our earthly identity, or risk everything and break free. Lawrence was asking if I was ready to die and be reborn yet again.

We arranged a session for the following day so I had time to tidy up loose ends and make peace with my old me. "The work," as Lawrence calls it, is done on an altar table in a shrine room filled with geometric shapes, copper windings, amplifying crystals, and sacred artifacts. In true shamanic tradition, he invokes ancient chants, tonings, and vibrational sounds played on an array of indigenous instruments. In truth, there was nothing gentle about the process. Using breathing techniques as instructed by Lawrence, I was able to open my body and heart/mind to receive the amplified vibrations he invoked and be realigned with the potential of the new moment.

This is not a process to be undertaken lightly. Death rarely is. However, for those who find themselves temporarily trapped in a spiritual cul de sac and are committed to emerging from the chrysalis of yesterday’s beliefs and taking the next step into the eternal mystery, I can commend no finer process. Having recently crawled as a caterpillar and then flown as a butterfly, I have to say that it’s good to be free to fly again.

"I can see auric chords coming from her body and disappearing into the distance!" Leda announced shyly. Others also agreed that they could see these faint chords. The teacher nodded agreement and then said, "Auric chords can also emotionally bind you to others. These are auric chords of light that extend out usually from the heart chakra or pelvic chakra, binding you emotionally to someone you love. When a relationship ends, it is wise to gently spiritually, mentally and emotionally, disconnect the chords and to seal and heal the chord ends.

The chords can be ‘cut’ with an imaginary, golden pair of scissors. Return the severed chord ends to your own heart chakra and pelvic chakra and then flood them with golden white light. This will help you and your patients to alleviate emotional stress and pain."

She showed the patient how to do this exercise and suggested that she do this exercise, whenever she thought of her lost lover.

Leda was fascinated by the experience and resolved, if she ever in the future, was suffering from a broken heart, then she would definitely try this exercise!"

unknown to you in your group. But, more than likely, you have journeyed to Earth,

many times with the people who make up your immediate and extended family.

Some of these people will owe you good karma and spontaneously help you in

your life. Others, may have been hurt by you in a past life and will attempt to

harm you in this life, unless their better natures take over. Others will be pleasant

to you, but detached about your joys and sufferings, offering neither help nor

hindrances.

All beings incarnate in order to overcome any negative feelings that they have to

those that have hurt them in past lives, but often, they cannot overcome their basic

feelings of distrust, anger or hate. So many will follow the same pattern of

behavior, that they started in a past life. For instance, six lifetimes ago, you may

have fought in battle and badly injured a soul who is now your cousin Mandy. You

have known Mandy all your life, but she has always been cold to you. As a child

she refused to play with you and as an adult, seldom speaks to you at family

gatherings. She does you no actual harm, and is normally a warm hearted person,

but her subconscious mind is reminding her that you harmed her in a past life and

may do it again!

Rather than retaliate by wounding you physically, she avoids you. As you become

more spiritually developed, you begin to subtly remember this past life, when

you injured her. You have two choices - either try to make up for your past

misdeed, by being extra pleasant and helpful to Mandy or by sending her love and

asking for forgiveness, via prayer and meditation.

Also, it is necessary that you ask the Universe that any outstanding karma between you both, be dissolved for all time. You may find in time, that Mandy will gradually begin to treat you with more warmth and affection, although she may not know the reason why!"

A. You are part of a group, but there are not many of your group that have

come in at this time. You have a number of beings, scattered around this

planet, part of your soul group. They are beginning to awaken, very

strongly to the Light and they are also feeling the influence, at this time, of

Archangel Michael, around them. You may not necessarily contact them,

till much later in your life.

Then I believe, you will come into contact with two or three and you will work together on a joint project.

But, do not consciously try to reach out to them. Instead in your prayers, in your

meditation, you will find that if you direct your mind and ask Spirit to

direct yourself to them, you will start to feel their feelings and pick up some

will be for a great good. Does this help?"

"Now that was a better life!" exclaimed Mariel with a contented smile. "I felt

very in tune with the earth and made little negative karma!"

"You did not have to spend twenty years with Lala nagging at you!" sighed

Jonel with a frown. "What a fool I was to be attracted to her looks, not her

nature!"

"I thought it was very dull!" said Ariel with a bored look. "How much jungle

can you take! It was the same thing, everyday!"

The three young souls stood before Kirrel and Meldel to review their latest

incarnation.

"From what I have heard," said Kirrel with a wise look, "you managed to

create unity between yourselves and then lost it over the pursuit of one, foolish young

woman!"

Mariel sighed.

"Yes, it was so! We should have maintained it, but as we grew older, the

divide became more apparent! We were all very stubborn, egotistical males!"

"We did feel close to the spirits of the land, though!" added Ariel with faint

hope.

"Yes, that is a plus, surely." admitted Meldel.

"But do you three think that you have learnt enough and are pure enough, to

return to the Seventh Level?" asked Kirrel with a knowing look.

"No!" said Mariel with a sad shake of her head.

"Definitely not, we would contaminate the group soul!" said Jonel with

vehemence.

"I’m afraid not!" agreed Ariel with a sad sigh."

planetary sources, that have come together, in order to help many of the

planets, such as Earth, raise in its Ascension process and to aid its inhabitants

in this Ascension process. They voluntarily agree to join the Ashtar Command

of the Federation, as part of their life service, part of their life plan.

They travel great distances, many Light years, upon what you would call

Light ships, star vehicles, mothercraft, in order to send Light, knowledge,

information to the planet, to aid by their loving control, ( perhaps, at times to

heal the Earth’s structure, so that earthquakes do not occur so severely, or

your great thunderstorms, do not create great loss of life). They are of course,

limited by what you would call the First Agenda - that they must not interfere,

too frequently, in the culture of the planet - much as your Star Trek fiction, I

believe, is based on some of these principles.

Because if they interfere, of course, they take away from you free will and

has choice at all times, just as beings now. you have choice. So, it is not part of

the Galactic Federation of Planet's agenda, to interfere in your free choice.

But they also know, that when a planet comes to a certain height of

consciousness and begins to believe that there are other forces beyond its

Earth - when they begin to see a meaning in the structure of the universe and

begin to feel God moving through them, they then often will call in help from

the outside and that is when the forces of the Galactic Federation, or Ashtar

Command, come around that planet, waiting to be asked in, waiting to give

guidance and love and information."

"A. We will use the term Twin Flame, rather than Soul Mate, which has

become a much abused term. You will find many soul mates in your life, from

your first childhood sweetheart, to your many teenage dates and perhaps

multiple sex and marriage partners. They teach you many valuable lessons

about yourself and life. Send them love and gratitude! But, your Twin Flame

is someone special. This person usually comes into your life, when you are at

a higher stage of spiritual development. Their motives are not just to marry you

and have a contented family life, but to inspire you to find your true

spirituality, your Life and World plans.

Often, they will work with you, in achieving these plans and projects. They

are usually the opposite sex to you, but of course, in some circumstances, can

be the same. Sometimes best friends are Twin Flames and occasionally twins

are Twin Flames. Two people who have come together as soul mates can

develop into Twin Flames, if they are similarly inspired, to develop the

spiritual side of their natures.

However, usually what happens is this - you begin to discover your true

spiritual nature. You continue developing it and discover your Life plan and

World plan. You begin to live these plans. You become more wise and

unconditionally loving. You begin to treat others with respect and warmth.

You then meet your twin flame, some one who has similar objectives and

virtues. Often the attraction is not overwhelming and passionate! Be warned.

Karmic relationships (soul mates) often inspire great passion in you

immediately. This happens in order to create a relationship for a short time.

Sexual attraction will hold you together, just long enough for you to trade

karma!

Twin Flames on the other hand, have years to get to know you. They don’t

usually rush things. Your common interests will bring you together and

slowly, you will fall in love. They will support and encourage you to find your

spiritual nature and activate your Life Plan'

The Universe is wanting to give you all the things you truly desire. It knows

your needs, but you have to ask it for help, have faith and do something to

start the process. Spirit has told us, "We will help you, but you must do at least

one third of the work. We will supply the other two-thirds!" You also have to

know what you really want. Many people vaguely ask for "riches", "spiritual

powers" or "happiness", but these are not clear indicators. You need to spend

some time doing research into what you really want out of life. Here is how …"

"You will also find when you are experiencing past lifetime recall, that you

recognise family members, friends, work colleagues and neighbours in different

guises. Your current life brothers and sisters may show themselves as past

friends and even enemies in past incarnations. Your parents may have played

those same roles before or friends or other connections are playing Mother

and Father, this time around. Remember that we all have a chance to play as

many roles as possible. It all helps towards spiritual growth!

Often a person who you have not noticed much in this current lifetime, such

as a distant relative or neighbour, may have been a valued friend in a past

incarnation. At sometime in this current lifetime, you may find that they

unexpectedly give you a great gift or do you an amazing favour or you may

feel a cosmic nudge to help them out in some way. Unconsciously they and

you are both aware that you have helped and cared for each other in past

incarnations, despite the lack of contact in this current lifetime. Accept the

gift with joy and get to know them better, you may be surprised how

compatible you both are!"

Everything is made of energy. Yes, everything! Spirit gave us this intriguing

knowledge in a channelling recently.

"ATLANTEAN PSYCHIC ARTS

The early Atlanteans were extraordinary people, as these early human beings were in a

much higher spiritual state than we are today. They still had great psychic powers and

were able to easily converse with beings on other spiritual levels. Their powers included

telepathy, telekinesis (moving objects with the mind), special healing powers, manifestation, clairvoyance, clairsentience and clairaudience (seeing, sensing and hearing spirits). They used psychic tools such as crystal balls and scryeing utensils to see the future. They could astral travel easily to distant places and oversee what was happening there. They explored their dreams in order to attain messages from higher spirits. We shall explore some of these special powers in this and the following lessons."

Deja vu can be described as the paranormal experience of feeling that you are currently

reliving an experience from the past. Often it is accompanied by cold shivers and a strange feeling of awareness. You may visit a new area and feel strongly that you know what lies beyond the next road or hill. A strong feeling of replaying the same incident, actions or emotions may occur to you unexpectedly.

Sometimes this is related to you having astral travelled in the dream state to the area the

night before to psychically "check out" the region. You vaguely remember it next day as a déjà vu feeling. But it can also relate to Past Life experiences. You may have walked these roads in a past life in a different century. The cathedral you visit in the twenty first century may have been built by you in the fourteenth! No wonder it feels familiar.

Sometimes an illustration in a book or a scene from a movie may make your skin tingle.

Movies such as Rapa Nui concerning the people of Easter island or Polynesian photographs may make you feel as if you've seen the view before or experienced the incident pre life.

This deja vu feeling is a nudge from the Universe to make you more aware of your past

lives. Do not ignore these tweaks from the past, but instead explore them in your next past life recall exercise."

Meditation is a conscious state of relaxation in which the mind is disengaged

from it's usual worries and thoughts, the physical body becomes relaxed and

the emotions are uplifted. During this meditative state the person can

experience thoughts and sensations beyond their normal range of being.

We suggest that you create an atmosphere of calmness for each of your Class

Lessons by making sure you will not be disturbed by telephone calls or

visitors. (Put up a do not disturb sign on your front door and put on the

telephone answering machine); children and pets are catered for away from

your meditation area. Candles, incense, subdued lighting, warm and pleasant

surroundings will all add to the relaxed but attentive mood.

It is always sensible to protect yourself spiritually and psychically by

imagining yourself in a gold auric egg of divine light before meditating.

higher dimensions to help you complete your Divine Mission goals! These

include the Archangels, angels of many types, your guardian angels, the good

Alien beings, Earth guardians, your own Higher Self and the Ascended

Masters. All these higher beings are just waiting for you to call upon them for

their own special Divine help and guidance. We shall look at all these special
